Chennai, May 28: The movie Singam set in the backdrop of Nellore, a small town. The film revolves around inspector Surya (Plays the character Durai Singam). Surya (Durai Singam) joins the service incisively because of his father’s wish. Surya settles all the disputes in town with his gentle talks. Anushka plays the character Kavya, a city girl. Anushka comes to the nellore, a small town for a vacation. She falls in love with Surya.

The movie goes smooth until the entry of Prakash Raj. He plays the character Mayil Vaagana. Mayil Vaaganam comes across Durai Singam. Things take a different turn with second half keeping everyone on the edge-of-seats. Singam is sure to be one of the best movies of 2010.
