Feb 28th, 2010 (New Delhi) – The CAT 2009 results deferred to end of February 2010 according to Indian Institutes of Management’s website www.catiim.in. According to IIM the CAT 2009 Results were expected to be declared on 28th Feb i.e. end of February 2010. Indian Institutes of Management have not mentioned any Time of declaration of CAT 2009 results.
If the IIM publishes CAT 2009 results today on Feb 28th (In an official press release, the institute was quoted as saying, “CAT 2009 result declaration has been deferred to the end of February 2010) , the results will be published online on it’s official website http://www.catiim.in.
About 2.42 lakh candidates registered for CAT 2009. In the first administration window (i.e., from November 28th to Dec 8th, 2009) about 2.16 lakh candidates completed the test. About 10% of the total registered applicants (24,000) did not show up for the test – a percentage that is similar to what has been experienced in the past. CAT is the test which is conducted by the IIM is mandatory for the aspirants who are willing to study at the seven IIMs and over 150 other B-schools in India.
