Feb 8, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Parthiv Gohil, a playback singer for Indian films received the passion for music from both his great-grandfather and father. Gohil hit the limelight when he won the finals of the singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma’ (Gujarati) and hasn’t looked back since then. The singer had contributed his talent in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Devdas’ as backing vocals and later in ‘Saawariya’ as a playback singer.
After being in this field for long Parthiv opines that music according to him is, “A language of true emotions which has divine powers to transport one to a different world. A world where there are no boundaries, no religions, no prejudice where everything seems to be in balance and in perfect harmony. Close your eyes and listen carefully, you will hear music all around.”
