Vimala Raman’s glam role

Actress Vimala Raman is all for trying something new. She will be seen playing a glamorous character in Gayam 2, directed by Praveen Sri, where she co-stars with Jagapathi Babu. This is after she has done numerous simple, docile girl roles.

Meanwhile, she has just finished shooting for Aptha Rakshaka, which also stars late actor Vishnuvardhan. While speaking about the film to the media, Vimala revealed that knowing classical dance was essential for this role. She also added that it was very memorable working with Dr. Vishnuvardhan.

She defends her revealing outfits in her new film by arguing that an NRI girl couldn’t possibly wear traditional clothes. She will have a bikini scene in the film.

Speaking of bikinis, she will also be seen in a bikini for her Telugu film, Lover Boy, which stars her opposite Tarun. Lover Boy is directed by V.N. Aditya and is produced by Supreme Raju Harwani and Gogineni Srinivas.
